I've wanted to start a podcast or YouTube channel for a long time but never had the courage to do so. It takes a lot to put yourself out there, start something new that you won't be great at straight away. And I've put in barriers of my own, consistently telling myself that it wasn't the right time.

However, I've been suffering from post viral fatigue symptoms (probably from a virus picked up in hospital) for about a month now. So I decided to finally give podcasting a go, as it's something that both excites, challenges and terrifies me. But also because it's a productive way to spend the reduced amount of energy that I have at the moment.

The podcast is called "Interesting Class" and on it I talk about health and well-being topics that I find interesting and that I have experience in. The podcast name is based on a class I taught whilst teaching English in China. It was basically an evening class where I could teach whatever I wanted so I thought it was apt.

The topic that I discuss in my first podcast is my long COVID recovery. In it I talk about when I first started to experience symptoms and how that developed. Going from feeling a little tired to having naps in my car on my lunch break and sleeping for 11 hours a day. The trauma that followed consisted of continually feeling a little better then getting worse again for months. Also, i went to hospital only to find out that there was nothing they could do for me and that I may never get better.

I talk about my change in attitude where I used to believe that everything could be solved by medication to realising that long term health is about building healthy habits into your life

And finally I talked about everything I did to recover from Long Covid. Including, meditation, breathing exercises, cold water therapy, diet, supplements, sound healing, grounding, gradually increasing my exercise, neuroplasticity techniques and Vegus nerve stimulation.

If you want to watch the full 30 minute podcast please click the link below and if you have any questions with regards to any of the topics I discuss feel free to contact me via email.
